Garment Care

To help maintain the quality, appearance, and longevity of your garments, please follow the care instructions listed on each product's label. Below are general guidelines for different types of fabrics and garment care:

1. Washing Instructions

  • Machine Wash: Use cold or lukewarm water (unless otherwise specified), as hot water can damage fabrics.
  • Hand Wash: For delicate or intricate items, hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent.
  • Wash Separately: To prevent color bleeding, wash dark colors with darks and lights with lights.
  • Inside Out: Turn garments inside out to reduce wear and tear, and protect prints or delicate details.

2. Drying

  • Air Dry: Lay garments flat or hang them to air dry. Avoid hanging knitwear to prevent stretching.
  • Tumble Dry: If tumble drying is safe, choose a low heat setting. Overheating can shrink or damage fabrics.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: When drying, avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

3. Ironing & Steaming

  • Ironing: If the garment can be ironed, follow the specific temperature setting on the care label. Iron on the reverse side of prints to avoid damage.
  • Steaming: Steaming is a gentler option that can help remove wrinkles without direct heat contact.

4. Storage Tips

  • Hanging: Use padded or wooden hangers for delicate garments, and store items like dresses or coats in a way that maintains their shape.
  • Folding: Fold items like sweaters to avoid stretching.
  • Storage Bags: For long-term storage, place garments in breathable fabric bags to protect them from dust, moisture, and pests.

5. Special Fabrics Care

  • Silk: Hand wash or dry clean only. Avoid wringing out to prevent damage.
  • Wool: Dry clean or hand wash with cold water. Always reshape wool garments while damp and lay flat to dry.
  • Denim: Wash inside out and avoid over-washing. Air dry to preserve the fit and color.
